Dr. Curt Thompson

Curt Thompson, M.D., is a psychiatrist in private practice in Falls Church, Virginia. In addition to treating adults, adolescents and families, Curt has gained expertise in the emerging field of interpersonal neurobiology. Out of this research and study Curt authored his first book, Anatomy of the Soul. In this import and astute work, he reveals how insights from interpersonal neurobiology resonate with biblical truths about God and creation—validating the deep human need for meaningful relationships as a key to a life of hope and transformation. Jay and Katherine Wolf

Katherine & Jay Wolf are parents, communicators, authors, and survivors. They married and moved to Los Angeles to pursue law school at Pepperdine for Jay and the entertainment industry for Katherine. Their son James was born in 2007 and six months later, Katherine’s life nearly ended with a catastrophic stroke. Miraculously, she survived and continues her recovery to this day. Katherine and Jay have shared their journey of whole-hearted living and hope in Christ for over seven years, through many successful digital and in-person forums. Nicole Carter is a singer, songwriter, piano player, and more. She accompanies Noah Needleman at Seasons Weekend and brings her original sound and music to the weekend with grace and heart. She has been a worship leader at various churches for over a decade, and is currently working on her first solo album. Nicole lives in Chico, California.

Terry Glaspey is a writer, an editor, a creative mentor, and someone who finds various forms of art—painting, films, novels, poetry, and music—to be some of the places where he most deeply connects with God. He has written over a dozen books, including Christianity Today's 2016 Book of the Year in the Arts category: 75 Masterpieces Every Christian Should Know: Fascinating Stories Behind Great Art, Music, Literature, and Film. Terry enjoys writing and speaking about a variety of topics including creativity and spirituality, the artistic heritage of the Christian faith, the writing of C.S. Amy Cella has served as Nicole Johnson’s assistant for over 15 years and has toured all over the United States taking care of all things “Nicole”.  With the development of Seasons Weekend, Amy also oversees product merchandising, travel, and planning for the team. She is the designer and builder of the "Seasons cross" --an important part of our weekend. Many of the decorative touches at Seasons are a result of Amy’s creativity and unique perspective.

 

Shanelle Doughlin serves as the location coordinator and reservation specialist at Seasons Weekend.  She is a graduate of Biola University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  Besides being incredibly organized and efficient, Shanelle is known for her uncanny ability to speak in a variety of accents at a moment’s notice.

Brook Hensley finds her role as Director of the Seasons Weekend Quiet Room slightly ironic – mostly because of her ongoing struggle to be still before God. She credits her years serving in Community Bible Study for instilling a deep wonder and fascination for Scripture. A native Texan, Brook and her writer husband Justin live in Los Angeles with their son Ried.

Pepper Sweeney is the Creative Director for Seasons Weekend. He is an award-winning director for his work with the Actors Co-op, Hollywood where he was the Artistic Director from 1999-2001. For 11 years he was Director of Drama for

the Women of Faith Conferences where a wonderful collaboration was started with Nicole Johnson that continues to this day. As an actor Pepper has appeared in over 30 television programs and films. Pepper lives in Northern Kentucky with his wife Nell and their 3 kids.

Melissa Maimone is part of the speaking team & Director of Marketing for Seasons Weekend. Melissa is a writer, blogger, and sought after speaker for retreats, women's events, and churches throughout the country. Coming from a somewhat idyllic background, it wasn't unti she experienced some of the darkest and most difficult times in her life that the love and grace of God came through in ways that changed her life forever. Melissa has a passion for being real with others, and being real with God (mostly because she got so darn tired of faking it!). Noah Needleman

Noah Needleman is a prolific songwriter with a soul for music, a heart for God, and a timeless voice. In addition to writing, Noah produces, performs, teaches guitar, and loves to cook. Noah has toured the United States, Costa Rica, Egypt, and China and his music has been featured in both television and film. In his contemporary mix of blues & folk, you’ll recognize the influences of John Mayer and Dave Matthews while appreciating Noah’s original and unique style. He toured with the national women's conference Belong in 2016. Bringing his professional abilities to Seasons, he leads worship and directs the house band. Noah lives in Nashville.
